Crawling class!!

Here's Tyler giving one of his "many" crawling lessons to Kate and Shawn.

Breakfast time......

Everyone is enjoying their breakfast. Tyler had french toast and pumkin bread. Kate and Shawn had blueberry pancakes. Yummy......

Kate is ALWAYS taking something from someone. She is going (already) to be a handful!!!

Nana and pa's house....

This morning nana and pa picked up Tyler and he spent the morning with them. He had a great time riding his tractor and nana's. He drove his tractor all over with pa behind on his.

And while Tyler wasn't home.....

Shawn enjoyed playing with his monster truck and cars. Shhh, don't tell Tyler!!

Cooking utensils.......

Spatula's, wooden spoons, tupperware all great sources of entertainment for little fingers and mouths!!!

This video is a little long but babies do not act on command. Here is the way Shawn has figured out how to get around. It still isn't fast enough to keep up with Kate because she crawls right over to him and takes his toys. That should be motivation enough to get going!!!

Kate and Shawn enjoyed the pool with the "big kids" for the first time. And apparently, Tyler doesn't get enough to drink that he now drinks from the pool!!

Grandpa gave Tyler a lesson in playing the harmonica. He really got the hang of it quick. Check out how he taps his foot while playing a "song" as he calls it.

Shawn will get on all fours and rock back and forth but than he looks at you like "now what"!!!

Here is Tyler, Rylee, and Reagan having fun in the pool (at 9 a.m.). My poor neighbor, Heather, was outside enjoying her coffee (in her pajamas:)) when Tyler entered our backyard and I was sitting on our porch with a magazine and my own cup of coffee when "they" spotted each other. I think hearts were flying above Tyler's head!! Rylee was calling over to us and I was telling Tyler we would play later (this is because EVERY time Tyler sees Rylee and Reagan outside he takes off for their house, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a for sale sign in their yard soon) and finally after much encouragement from Rylee and Heather, I let Tyler go over and play in the pool with the girls.

Downsizing......

This is our new form of transportation for most outings. It is much lighter and compact. Tyler is a great help, when we go out to any store, he pushes the stroller and I can push the cart. Which by the way, I wish more of the bigger chains would have the carts that 2 infants or toddlers can sit in. Sam's is the only store that has that type of cart.

Puffs, please!!

Kate and Shawn (Tyler too, of course he has to have what they have, except the baby food) like puffs and so do I. Besides teaching motor skills, it keeps them busy. By the time they're done, 1/2 have gone in their mouth and

1/2 are stuck to their arms, in their shirt, on the floor......

I walked in Shawn's room to see if he was awake and saw him holding his puppy, too cute to not get a picture.

Kate can go from sitting to her belly and off she goes, doing the low crawl. And she couldn't let Shawn out do her, one bottom tooth has come through. Today, Kate and I were on the porch while the "boys" were still taking a nap and the next thing I realized she had reached up and grabbed the seat of the chair and pulled herself up. She is a very determined and busy baby!!!! Can't sit still, just like mommy.......
