Little daredevil

Trying to catch up

I think Shawn has 7 teeth now (too dangerous to look in their mouths now!!!!) and Kate has 4. I remember one thing that drove me crazy when Tyler was getting his teeth, grinding!!!! And now I have it times 2...........like nails on a chalk board.

All good things must come to an end, FOR NOW....

Amy, Pat, Alyssa and Natalie returned home today and they are already missed. It was great to have them all here but for me it was "refreshing" to have Amy here with me. She is the one person I can talk to (besides Keith) multiple times a day, if needed. She always assures me that I am doing the best I can, sometimes that's all I need to hear to get me through the day. And to have her here 7 whole days, was the best medicine. While she was here she cut and colored my hair (along with Shawn, Tyler and Keith). Keith wanted to know how I liked my hair and I said I didn't know because it went right up in a pony as ususal. He doesn't understand why I get it done if its in a pony all the time!!!! Amy's response was "if you can find time in the day when Lisa can take a shower, wash, dry and flat iron her hair, she would". Some days, I'm lucky to brush my teeth...........Needless to say it was said to see them go but we will see them soon. All 5 of us will be going to Florida July 27th for my niece Annabelle's 1st birthday.

Tyler and Natalie showing off their harmonica skills, quite the duo!!!!

How things change.....

I remember the days when I was feeding Alyssa and now Alyssa is feeding my babies!!!! She was a great help feeding, changing and singing to the babies. She and Natalie could make them smile when they were crying by singing all their favorite songs.

Slip and slide

They grow up so fast.

The last time Amy saw Kate and Shawn (in person) they were 4 weeks old. They are now 9 months old and she couldn't believe how much they have changed. They are crawling, pulling up and cruising around things, feeding themselves and how independent they are. She said she loves to see the pics and videos on the blog but when you see them in person, you get to see their real personalities not to mention smothering them with lots of love and kisses!!!!!!!

Shawn's 1st haircut!!!!

Aunt Amy cut Shawn's hair on her visit and he was such a good boy......Thanks to our AWESOME photographer "Alyssa", we were able to get these great pics. Thanks Alyssa!!!!!

While on a bike ride, the kids and Keith found a turtle.

And they brought it home. As the turtle made its way into our garage.......Amy saw a rabbit hop across the yard!!!! I'm sure she was ready to see a heard of cows go down the street next.

Bedtime fun

Natalie makes a new friend....

The Zoo......

Friends/reinforcements have arrived, hooray.......
Amy, Pat, Alyssa and Natalie arrived in Chattanooga yesterday. Since the drive was about 1 hour and 45 minutes we decided to go to the Chattanooga Aquarium. Sorry, no pics of that. I'll have to steal some of Amy's. Today, Amy, Alyssa, Natalie, Tyler and I went to the Nashville Zoo. (Kate and Shawn stayed home with Nana and Grandpa and Pat golfed.)

"Trying" to get a picture of everyone....

I always thought that teeth come in pairs.......

apparently not. Kate still has one tooth on the bottom and her two top teeth have come through!!!! Let me just say, its tough, no, VERY STRESSFULL to have two babies teething at the same time. You would never know by the beautiful smile on her face!!! Maybe I should start posting my picture..........:))

New teeth, old teeth, loosing teeth.......

Shawn's top two teeth have come through and Alyssa's top two teeth have fallen out!!!! What a day.......today was also Alyssa's last day of Kindergarten....WOW, she is going to be in 1st grade. Way to go, Alyssa. We can't wait for your visit, 2 more weeks!!!! For those of you who don't know, Alyssa is my niece, well not by blood but through a wonderful friendship. I've known Alyssa since before she was born and she is just like one of my own!!! (And yes, that is a puff stuck to Shawn's chin)
