Can you feel the love?

There isn't usually too much "love" between these 3 when they're upstairs playing. You know the normal screams, crying, and toy taking. So, when I heard nothing but quiet I went to check and this is what I found, everyone reading together (peacefully). Too sweet....

I am amazed at the little things.....

Kate picked up my bottle of water and drank it, without spilling. Boys and girls do things soooo differently. Boys seem to be droolers (at least mine were/are) Kate never did. Shawn needs to be hosed down after he eats, Kate looks like she just put on clean clothes. Shawn picked up Keith's water bottle, tried drinking and it went all over his chest......just the little differences.

Here we come, ready or not!!!

War zone!!!

Well, everyone has a war wound. Last week Shawn fell on the driveway and scraped his nose up pretty good. Yesterday, Kate fell and bit her lip, which is now bloody and swollen. And last night in the bathtub Tyler fell and busted his chin open. Dr. Daddy decided it was border line for stitches and we put a steri-strip on it. We (Keith and I) will definitely be stocking up on medication to get us through the next 18 years!!!!

Fashion sense....

or is it possible for a 13 month old to be playing dress up already!!!! The first pic Kate found a shirt of mine and put it over her head and somehow ended up wearing it. Then yesterday we received a "goody" box from Amy and Lori (or should I say Natalie and Savannah) and this skirt was in the box. Kate pulled it out and handed it to me, I replied with "pretty" and handed it back . Well apparently that's not what she wanted. She wanted to wear it and she did for the rest of the day.

I have the best neighbor......not only is Heather my friend but we are the type of neighbors that are always borrowing from each other. Eggs, milk, you know that "missing" ingredient that you forgot to buy and are not about to haul all your kids to the store again for.......I have raised the bar on my borrowing. Heather has offered to lend us the climber below for Kate and Shawn. It is the perfect size for them and since Rylee and Reagan hardly use it (I'm sure they will want it back now that it is gone) she offered it to us for the winter. I think I will put it in the garage as the cold weather approaches or maybe even the playroom. THANK YOU, Heather (and Rylee and Reagan)!!!

Soooo sleepy......

I had to "steal" these pics from Amy's blog. Here is Natalie asleep on the swing, really asleep.

Story time.

This is Kate's favorite position when we read books. She'll bring a book to us and lay on her stomach.

Standing room only.

Doing laundry with 2 little "helpers"....Who knew an open, empty dryer could provide entertainment!!! And no, I didn't leave them unattended.

The 3 musketeers

This morning Tyler had a play date with his friends, Rylee and Reagan. (Kate and Shawn were home with Nana) We were going to the pumpkin patch but they don't open until 3 so we decided on the park. Well, when we got there it was windy and then the rain came. So, we ended up at the mall in the soft play area. I don't think it matters to the kids, they just want to play.

Here's Rylee showing off her best supermodel pose!!

And Reagan, she's too fast to get a photo. (sorry Heather)
Tyler has now figured out how to climb on to some of the big pieces and make me really nervous. But I guess that's why its called a "soft play area"!

CROCS

Anyone who knows me, knows I have ALWAYS said "crocs are weird and ugly looking"!!! Well, Amy was right.......on kids they are really cute and super easy. When three kids are all itching to get outside AND be the first one, I can't get their shoes on fast enough. Now I can. Tyler has a pair, too, but he didn't want his picture taken. The funniest part about these crocs is Keith REALLY, REALLY hated them and said his kids would NEVER wear them. Well, who's idea was it you ask???? Keith's.....yeah never say never !!!!

What a cutie.........(I know, they're all cute but...you know what I mean)

Monkey see, monkey do!!!!

Literally, when one does something, the other immediately follows. Right down to when their eating, if one takes a drink, the other will stop mid-eating to take a drink, too. Shawnie is definately my climber, he climbs on everything (and then falls). Keith said he opened the door to my truck today and Shawn climbed in!!!!!
