Christmas Eve at Nana and Pa's house....

New trikes for Kate and Shawn, a pinball machine for Tyler (but I really think its for Pa) trucks for Tyler and Shawn, books and dress up for Kate, and a Gator for everyone. And last but not least cookies for Santa and the tree.

I thought the sickness had left our house and was sadly mistaken last Thursday when Kate's cough turned into a fever, vomiting and just pure misery for her. So, we're talking 6 weeks of sickness, runny noses, coughing, vomiting, cleaning, washing sheets, washing blankey and puppy (gross puppy), doctor visits and prescriptions........I am WORE OUT and the sad part is, winter isn't even here yet!!!! GOOD LUCK IN ALASKA, JEN!

Ho, Ho, Ho

Our visit to see Santa went well for only 1 person, Tyler. Tyler was very prepared to see Santa and knew what he wanted to tell him "I want a monster truck". And that was that. I didn't want to push my luck but I asked Tyler if I could get a picture of him, Kate and Shawn with Santa and he agreed. Kate and Shawn, not so much......

Feeling better.......finally!

After a very long sick bout with these 3, everyone is finally feeling better. Shawn has had his nose wiped so many times he has a scab under it.......

Double duty!!!!

Snow update: There isn't much left as of tonight but this morning when we got back from Publix, yes I lugged 3 kids to Publix in this weather. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!! Anyway, when we got back Kate and Shawn were fascinated by the "crunching" sound when they walked on the driveway. So, I let everyone play for a while. Sorry, no pictures.....

Not too worried about them getting sick since Tyler has been sick for about a month resulting in an ear infection that oral antibiotics could not cure. So, the poor boy had to have a series of 3 shots done in 3 days........and on the 2nd day he knew what was happening when the nurse entered the room, needle in hand.

Then there's Shawn, who has been coughing since Thanksgiving so finally I took him to the doctor on Monday and he has bronchitis......the doctor put him on Z-pak for children and as of today no improvement. The boy is miserable, won't play, only wants his momma and has not eaten in 3 days......and when Shawn doesn't eat you know he must be really sick!!!

Last but not least is Kate, she has all 4 molars that have come through and has a cough, too. But she's a trooper, no complaining from her, wonder why???? She's a girl........need I say more!!!!

A REAL SNOWFALL, at least for this Florida family!!!

It has been snowing for about 3 hours now, which is a lot for our area. Kate and Shawn were asleep and we (we being Keith, me and Tyler) decided to throw on our "snow gear" and go outside. We threw some snowballs at each other, ran around the yard and quickly went back inside because it was freezing.......

This is how Shawn ALWAYS sleeps, with puppy's ear half in his mouth. It must be true love between these two because puppy is so disgusting.......

The Cottage

This was an early xmas present from Grandma and Grandpap that we put together while Annabelle was here. They all love it, I think their favorite part is going in and out the door and opening and closing the shutters.
