Date night.

After a long day of planting trees, we ended it with dinner at Bucca di Beppo for Sherree's birthday, YUMMY!!!

Woo hoo, we have trees!!!

Since we live only an hour from what is known as the "nursery capital of the world", McMinnville, Tn, we took full advantage and bought 21 Leyland Cypress trees today. Our neighbor on the west side of us did major landscaping yesterday that looks awesome, now we have the trees lining the backyard, all I need now is for "Heather" to plant on the other side!!!! It was a lot of work for Keith (and Tyler and Shawn as you can see) it looks great, though.

Everyone knows what to do when I say "say cheeeese"!

Introduction to crayons!!!!

The cold weather returned today :( so I thought I would introduce crayons. Everyone did great, not one of them ended up in anyone's mouth. Amazing......its hard to believe a year ago they were learning how to crawl and now they're coloring, learning how to ride bikes, climb the ladder on the swingset and slide down, giving me a stroke!!! And Kate, Mrs. Independent (I can't blame her for it, she's a lot like me) once she figures something out, she wants to do it herself. Like putting her shoes on, and she does it. Putting her clothes on, and she does it. And DON'T even think about asking her if she needs help, little stinker. Shawn on the other hand can't be bothered, he has his focus on other things like his trucks and cars! And Tyler, he likes being the big brother (Kate really enjoys following him around) and riding his bike, for the few days that it was warm!!

Boo boo's, bandaid's and bruises.

In some weird way, Kate is always thrilled to "show off" and point out her boo boo's. Tyler, on the other hand, does not want you to clean them or touch them. He did want bandaids and walked around the entire day holding up his shorts so they didn't touch his knees.

The forecaster's actually got it right for once and we had snow.

I brought the camera on the way to drop the kids off at my parents to capture some of our snow. I love this house, its located on Main St. and if I had about 1.5 million I would buy it!!

The kids checking out the snow

and I would have taken more pics but after this one Kate slipped on the driveway.

This is my parents house, they had more snow than we did.
