We had a full house for Thanksgiving this year. Grandma, Grandpap and Christina. (the picture to the left is Shawn meeting the newest member to the Rhodes family, Christina, who was adopted by Jan and Bruce in August.) Uncle Kurt, Aunt Jamie, cousin Annabelle and another new member, not here yet. Aunt Jamie is 5 months pregnant!!!! OMG, is she adorable? Of course I think so, she's my daughter.......So, let me explain. Lately, I have asked Kate if she has poop in her diaper and she will than attempt to get her diaper off. I tell her no, let's go sit on the potty. What does she do........by herself......goes to the bathroom, lifts the lid on the potty, and looks at me to take off her diaper. And this is the result. She will sit for a few minutes, no pee or poop (come on she's only 14 months!!) But hey, its a start, right? Than there's Shawn.......he could care less, his thought is "just change my diaper please"!!!
First let me say, I love Craigslist and the consignment store, so many bargains. This I found on craigslist, it is a 2-room playhut tent and the kids LOVE it. I need all the forms of entertainment I can find for winter, burrrr!!
After bathtime Tyler LOVES to get in our bed and watch a movie...........or sleep through a movie!!
Apparently, this is how you hang your christmas lights in Tennessee (and much safer than a extension ladder)!!!!! Wow.......I know, I know, its not even Thanksgiving BUT when my WONDERFUL husband is on limited time, you take it when you can. My dad has a great idea, start in October when the weather isn't 40 degrees and windy.......burrrrrr. I am a HUGE christmas buff and lately there hasn't been anything to look forward to (if you know what I mean, i.e. our new president) so why not get in the spirit :) Finished product pictures still to come.......

How many times have I titled a blog "poor Shawnie"!!! I thought he was going to be my sick child, you know the one who gets sick no matter what. Well, I guess I was wrong, I think he is my clumsy child. Here he is again, all banged up. The poor baby, everytime he runs on the driveway he trips and his face is the first thing to hit the ground. Maybe he needs a football helmet when outside playing.......Even with all those scrapes, he is still so darn CUTE!!!
I don't know how Tyler ended up on Reagan's bike with Reagan pushing.......it must be his good looks!!!!
