We're 11 months old today and taking our first steps!!!

Kate is a little better than Shawn. She can walk from me to Keith pretty well. I will have to get a video of them, its a little hard holding the camera, waiting for her to walk to me and having Shawn hang on my back all at the same time, if you know what I mean!!!!!

Shawn has had some rough couple of weeks....

He started out with a cold 4 weeks ago, then got pneumonia, ended up in the emergency room last week (long story) resulting in bronchitis and the following day was diagnosed with something called "herpangina" from the "coxsackievirus". Do they have to have such ridiculous names, couldn't they just call it "ulcers in the back of the throat"!! Anyhow, it is very contagious.....(of course, it wouldn't be my life if it wasn't) so the doc says don't let anyone come into contact with anything he has put in his mouth. YEAH RIGHT, like that didn't already happen!!!! Kate caught a little something but finally as of last night everyone seems to be getting better, FINALLY.

Happy Birthday to Mommy!!!!

My day started out at 8:00 a.m. with a wonderful happy birthday song from my girls next door, Heather, Rylee and Reagan. I was on my porch having my coffee and they were on their porch. And I couldn't resist getting this picture of Reagan. Ahh, the days when we could run around in our underwear, I'm so jealous.

Then my neighbor on the other side of me made, from scratch, this delicious carrot cake. Thanks to Wendy........

I also have to apologize publicly to my "Wonderful" friend, Amy. I gave her a real hard time this morning and told her how upset I was that I didn't get my "sentimental, how much I mean to her" birthday card:)) The only thing I could assume was that she was going to surprise me and show up. Not that lucky I guess...I don't blame her, she has seen what goes on here, chaos and will probably NEVER be back!! She informed me that I need to check my email and there it was, my sentimental card and birthday gift, thanks I miss you!!!!!!!!
And I can't forget my parents, I love their gifts, they are appreciated by the entire family....diapers, wipes and snacks for the kids............Everyday is like my birthday with having them close. Whenever I need anything they are always here to help me and I appreciate that more than anything........

SCARY........but still cute. Poor Shawn, he has Pneumonia.....

All three have been sick since before our Florida trip, so about 2 weeks. But Shawn was just getting worse. He has this horrible cough in his chest and his breathing sounds like asthma so I took him to the doctor today, he got a chest x-ray and there was the pneumonia. The doc gave him antibiotics and a steroid. If the steroid doesn't help the breathing, she wants him to use a nebulizer. He's tough, hopefully in the next few days he will start to feel better.
